Who We Are

Mission: To empower working families facing housing insecurity to become self-sufficient by providing temporary housing and personalized support, as well as address food insecurity in the community every day.

Family Promise is the only organization in Bergen County dedicated to providing shelter and support to working families experiencing homelessness. Intensive case management helps families set goals and move towards self-sufficiency.

Our commitment to the community includes a hunger relief program, the Family Promise Walk-In Dinner Program, providing and serving dinner for approximately 160 people every night in Hackensack.
