Opportunities From: Bergen Volunteers

Description:  Volunteers that work on our loading dock help unload donations and load purchased items into customer vehicles.  In between assisting customers and donors, Volunteers will clean and stock merchandise on the sales floor. Work is generally performed indoors, but you will occasionally be asked to help outdoors.  This position is available Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm.  Saturdays 10am-5pm

* 4 hour or 8 hour shifts available

Requirements:

-       Commitment to a set schedule

-       Ability to lift up to 50lbs

-       Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time and climb ladders up to 6ft

Description

:    Volunteers will assist the store by driving sales through social media and E-commerce platforms.  You will be asked to take photos of merchandise to post online and help with video media marketing.  You will also research items and find comparison pricing to educate our customers about the value of the item.  You will have an opportunity to be creative and work in collaboration with our Social media manager.  This position is available Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm.  Saturdays 10am-5pm

Requirements:

-       Flexible schedule

-       Experience with Facebook and Craigslist

-       Ebay experience is a plus

-       Excellent web search skills

-       Attention to detail

-       Ability to work independently

-       MS office suite

Description:  Volunteers that work in the backroom will be pricing, cleaning, and stocking small goods that are donated to our store.  They will also help identify high value goods that can be sold online and forward them to our Ecommerce Coordinator.  Backroom Associates will also engage with our customers during the workday and help answer any questions they may have.    This position is available Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm.  Saturdays 10am-5pm.

Description:  Volunteers that work at our cash register will assist customers with their purchases and guide them through the sales process.  They will be responsible for communicating store policies and answering general merchandise questions.  They may also be asked to assist with researching and pricing items.  This position is available Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm.  Saturdays 10am-5pm.  Current need is Tuesday and Wednesday 10am-4pm.
