The Food Brigade Inc. needs VOLUNTEERS TO HELP DISTRIBUTE PREPACKAGED RESTAURANT MEALS at our drive-through distribution operation in Dumont.

The Food Brigade will be distributing prepackaged hot restaurant meals to Bergen County residents in need on TUESDAY, MARCH 30. Volunteers are needed between 4:15PM-6:30PM. This is a outdoor "drive-through" distribution: people seeking meals drive through our meal distribution site, where volunteers place the meals into trunks/hatches or back seats. Volunteers are needed to:

• sort and bag meals;
• arrange meals on tables for distribution;
• check in recipients as they arrive;
• load meals into vehicles;
• assist with traffic control.

Our meal distribution operation takes place on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from the parking lot behind Calvary United Methodist Church, 185 W. Madison Avenue, Dumont, NJ.

All volunteers must wear face masks. Face masks must be worn over the mouth AND nose and not removed at any time. Volunteers must practice social distancing to the greatest extent possible. Recipients are instructed to NOT leave their vehicles at any time, and are required to wear face masks the entire time they are on our distribution site.

PLEASE NOTE: If you receive an automated email notification through this platform stating that the "need" has "ended", please do not think that means we no longer need you to volunteer! You are still very much needed; please disregard that notification!
