An older woman living alone on a limited income in Maywood desperately needs our help. The township has been on her case repeatedly, threatening fines due to her property’s condition. She has little family or financial support, and things have gotten away from her—we were still cleaning up Christmas decorations in June while knocking down overgrowth in the summer heat!
This is more than just simple yard work—it’s a mix of clearing overgrown vegetation, possible small tree or branch removal, and hauling out debris. Think of it as helping to transform a backyard jungle into something manageable.
What we need:

Volunteers (group) willing to roll up their sleeves and get a little dirty

Protective clothing, gloves, and eyewear (recommended)

Tools like trimmers, saws, rakes, and even garbage bags if you have them
