Buddies of NJ has a group home on the campus of Bergen NEW BRIDGE Medical Center
The Harrison House currently is the Home of a Garden of Hope created by Joe G, and now curated by master gardener Elke D.
We need help with the following:
* weed pulling
* watering
* moving/spreading top soil and mulch
* planting new flowers and following up on your general well-being
Joe had a wish that he could find a few people in the area who would be willing to help and the garden's vitality once he moved on. There is a lot of flexibility in the schedule. This is an outdoor activity and offers a safe and healthy opportunity.
Ideally it should be someone who loves gardening and/or helping things grow and stay healthy. Perhaps someone who is retired and/or has off in the early parts of the morning.
