Center for Food Action’s Mahwah Client Choice Market relies on volunteers to keep pantry shelves organized and fully stocked for guest appointments.
Volunteers assist with restocking shelves, organizing food inventory, preparing items for distribution, and maintaining a clean and orderly pantry environment.
Volunteer Commitment (Required):
CFA is an ongoing volunteer program, and we ask volunteers to commit to one shift per week on the same day, at the same time, and at the same location on a consistent, recurring basis. We do not offer one-time-only individual volunteer opportunities, and all sites are closed on weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Volunteering may involve standing for extended periods, bending and reaching, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, and moving food inventory. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Volunteers must be 16+ and agree to CFA policies and Code of Conduct.
