Helping our education staff at our annual Haunted Forest is an effective way to make a difference while helping to educate our community.
We are seeking volunteers who are interested in helping our education staff at our annual Haunted Forest. Tenafly Nature Center Environmental Educators will guide small groups along the nature center trails. Designed to be entertaining and educational (not scary), tours take 1.5 hours. After which participants can enjoy refreshments and crafts around the campfire. Volunteers are needed to help lead the tours, aid in the craft or game stations, and assist at the campfire.
- 2025 Schedule: Sunday, October 26 Help is needed between the hours of 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
- Age: Ages 14+
- Minimum Requirement: 3 hours
