Commitment: One-time project (multi-day; immediate availability required)
Overview:
The Women’s Rights Information Center is seeking detail-oriented, hands-on volunteers to support a short-term but impactful organization project. Volunteers will help transform and streamline our storage areas to better serve the individuals and families who rely on our resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, categorize, and organize donated items including clothing, toys, and personal care products
- Arrange and optimize storage spaces for accessibility and efficiency
- Assist in creating logical systems for inventory management (labeling, grouping, etc.)
- Identify items for redistribution, donation, or disposal as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and functional workspace throughout the project
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, move, and sort boxes/items (light to moderate physical activity)
- Comfortable working in storage environments
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Immediate availability and flexibility to commit across several consecutive days
