Volunteer: Kosher Meals on Wheels DriverProgram Overview: Our Kosher Meals on Wheels program is a lifeline for seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties. In addition to receiving seven nutritionally balanced meals weekly, volunteers also deliver vital human contact and conversation, while also taking the opportunity to check on a senior’s health status and conditions in their home. Drivers pick up the meals in Teaneck and deliver the meals to up to five clients. Routes are available throughout Bergen County and take into consideration the location of the volunteer's home. We have an increased need for drivers in Ft. Lee. Time Commitment: Approx. 1-3 hours once per week during the day. Qualifications: If you have any questions, please reach out to our Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at 201-837-9090 x238. We are looking forward to getting to know you!
