Give Chances

Mission: Our mission is to ‘give chances’ to underprivileged individuals and make changes in our communities through education and job training designed to be effective, efficient, and accessible.

Give Chances, Inc, is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit organization founded and registered in the State of New Jersey since 2011. Our vision is to create and provide opportunities for children, youth and people with disabilities who do not have access to quality education and/or timely care due to limited resources. Give Chances offers quality learning and consulting opportunities in order to support children, youth and people with disabilities in fulfilling their dreams and talents.

Since 2015, Give Chances has focused its mission and target population on children of low-income communities in New Jersey. Since COVID-19, our programs have all switched to online and we are currently working with volunteers and students nation- and worldwide to grow our outreach efforts. We hope to continue recruiting students and volunteers who align with Give Chances, and we hope to be a support in the process of reducing the learning gap that students across the nation are experiencing.

• Joyful Learning After-School Program: Serving hundreds of students with free academic enrichment, creative learning, and mentorship at several NJ learning centers (Leonia, Parsippany, Palisades Park, Jersey City), as well as centers in NY, PA, and WA.
• DDartists Program: Offering job training, professional development, and creative expression for artists with developmental disabilities, helping them find purpose, pride, and employment through art.
• Chance Makers Youth Leadership Council: A passionate group of student leaders (middle and high schoolers) who engage in advocacy, volunteer service, and peer-to-peer education to fight educational inequality.
• Dream & Hope Program: Supporting our students’ families with school supplies, grocery deliveries, and scholarships—because education doesn’t happen in isolation.
