Who We Are
Mission: To ensure patients are calm and free of discomfort and pain during this segment of their journey.
At Villa Marie Claire, our Hospice Volunteer Program is comprised of volunteers ranging from current professionals, retirees and students who feel called to provide end-of-life care. Hospice volunteers offer support to patients, families and on-site staff, fulfilling numerous roles on a daily basis. After an application process and Hospice Volunteer training, our Volunteers are prepared to provide support to our Hospice team. Volunteers are assigned to either the Villa Marie Claire inpatient services or Community Hospice services, and a required to make a 4 hour monthly commitment to our Hospice program.
