Touched By an Angel

Mission: To transform the lives of single-parent families, fostering stronger communities and empowering individuals to lead purpose-filled lives.

Touched by an Angel, located in Ridgefield Park, NJ, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering single parents by promoting wellness, financial stability, and connecting them to community resources.

Touched by an Angel assists both male and female headed homes. We define single parents as any one who has never been married, divorced, widowed, or has become a widower and heads a home of one or more children under the age of 21.

We are a for-purpose organization that provides:

• Advocacy and Education: Raising awareness about the challenges of single parenting and providing educational resources to support single parents.
• Support Programs: Offering life skills training, life coaching, resume building, and referrals to community resources that assist with educational grants, childcare expenses, mental health, and legal services.
• Community Engagement: Hosting workshops and support groups to help single parents build better relationships with their children, develop co-parenting skills, and enhance emotional intelligence.
