We are incredibly sad to say goodbye to beloved CHORE program volunteer, Lee McQuade, who recently passed away at the age of 90.
For 14 years, Lee faithfully volunteered with CHORE every Friday, giving his time, talents, and heart to help older adults remain safe and independent in their homes. His dedication touched countless lives.
Lee brought so much more than home repairs-he brought a warmth that lit up every room. We will never forget his signature greeting, "How you be?" or his humble, smiling response to how he was doing: "Better than I deserve."
Thank you, Lee, for every Friday you spent helping others and for the example you set. You will be deeply missed.
