The Bergen Volunteer Center will celebrate the Hearts of Gold Dinner and Auction on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack. The event will honor exemplary individuals, companies and organizations that support our mission of turning caring into meaningful action by engaging volunteers to meet community needs.
All proceeds from Hearts of Gold will fund our direct service programs:
- Mentoring Moms connects a mother struggling to provide a safe and positive home for her family with a caring and dedicated mentor;
- Mentoring Youth matches committed and compassionate adult mentors with children that have suffered abuse or neglect;
- The Chore Service is supported by volunteer handypersons that perform home repairs that enable elderly and disabled individuals live independently in their homes.
The evening will provide great networking, a fabulous cocktail hour, and an amazing Silent Auction. Join us as to share inspiring stories, honor outstanding volunteers, and celebrate our incredible accomplishments.
