Helping our staff at our annual Fireflies and Faeries Event is a fun way to make a difference while helping to educate our community.
We are seeking volunteers who are interested in helping our staff at our annual Fireflies and Faeries Event.
Take a stroll along Tenafly Nature Center’s magical path through the forest. At this evening event, attendees will follow along a 1/3 mile path, admire faerie houses* from local artists, meet enchanting fae folk, try sparkly and sweet treats, and celebrate an evening of awe and wonder.
Volunteers are needed to with set up, breakdown, help run craft and activity stations and engage with participants along the nature center trails.
- 2026 Schedule: Sunday, July 2026 help is needed between the hours of 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Age: Ages 14+
- Minimum Requirement: 3 hours
