At our Mahwah Client Choice Market, Pantry Hosts provide direct support to guests during afternoon service hours.
Volunteers assist with welcoming guests, maintaining pantry organization, restocking shelves as needed, and supporting staff during active distribution. This is a guest-facing role requiring professionalism, compassion, and consistency.
Volunteer Commitment (Required):
CFA is an ongoing volunteer program, and we ask volunteers to commit to one shift per week on the same day, at the same time, and at the same location on a consistent, recurring basis. We do not offer one-time-only individual volunteer opportunities, and all sites are closed on weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Volunteering may involve standing for extended periods, bending and reaching, light to moderate lifting up to 30 pounds, and restocking pantry shelves. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Volunteers must be 16+ and agree to CFA policies and Code of Conduct.
