Flat Rock Brook will be running a Deer Drive on March 28 from 9:30 to 1:00. Participants will need to wear comfortable clothing, sturdy hiking boots and high, light colored socks as you will be walking off trail. It is recommended also that you bring a water bottle, hat, bug spray and sun screen to the event.
The purpose of a Deer Drive is to gently coax the deer from the deer-excluded area to the rest of FRB’s 150 acres of property to allow the native and endangered plants of this area to thrive.
Participants must be able to walk on uneven terrain for an extended time.
