Workshop Associate
Description: Volunteers that work in the workshop will be using a variety of tools to craft items that are sold in our ReStore. We encourage workshop volunteers to be creative! We build items like bird houses, planters, tables, and more.
We also repair items from the sales floor.
You must have a basic knowledge of wood working power tools to train for this role.
This position is available Tuesday through Friday 10am-2pm
Requirements:
- Commitment to a set schedule
- Ability to safely use a variety of wood working power tools (ie. Miter saw, table saw, drill press, finish Nailers, etc.)
- Ability to work on your feet and stand for intermittent periods of time
- Ability to work safely and independently after training
- Complete and pass online Competent person training.
