Do you love organizing, sorting, and making sure everything has a place? Kathy’s Closet may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
Kathy’s Closet is our donation and distribution area, where we organize and store in-kind donations for our Lifeline clients, special families, residents, and partner organizations. All items in Kathy’s Closet are brand new and donated to support the families and organizations we serve.
We are looking for approximately 3 volunteers who can provide regular assistance with:
- Organizing and maintaining inventory
- Counting and sorting donations
- Tracking incoming donations
- Preparing donations for distribution
This is a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves, work alongside others, and make sure donated items get into the hands of families who need them.
Volunteer Requirements
All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application before moving forward with an opportunity.
For opportunities that involve direct interaction with our residents and/or children, additional training and screening requirements apply. This may include a criminal background check and driving record check, when applicable.
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities. We are especially looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers who can help us better connect with and support the families we serve.
