BVMI patients come from many backgrounds and cultures.
Often, they are more comfortable speaking in their first language and have a better understanding of what is being said. BVMI's volunteer interpreters are the conduit between patient and practitioner, ensuring a positive outcome at the appointment.
If you are bilingual, English/Spanish and English/Korean, we would love for you to join our team. Our volunteer practitioners are a joy to work with, kind, and compassionate. And, our patients are thankful for the care they receive at BVMI.
Hours are flexible - most shifts are 3-4 hours.
You do not need to have a medical background to be an interpreter.
