VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR POINT-IN-TIME SURVEY
Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a one-day nationwide event in which the community comes together to serve those most in need. PHC is designed to improve access to services and increase the understanding of the issues confronting our homeless community. It fosters collaboration between non-profit, public, private, and individual volunteers in the effort to end homelessness.
In conjunction with PHC, a Point-in-Time (PIT) survey is administered which will help determine the number of people who are homeless in our community and provide us with valuable information that will assist the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development fund initiatives that will help prevent and end homelessness in our community.
Please join the Outreach Street Team on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, to administer the annual Point-In-Time (PIT) survey in areas where people who are homeless are known to congregate: parks, riverbanks, abandoned buildings, and other areas in Bergen County.
Shift 1: 7:30 am-12:30 pm
Shift 2: 12:30 pm-4:30 pm
