Join the RTNJ Board of Directors. Looking to give back but have limited time? There is actually no better return on your nonprofit time investment than through board service. The impact you can make with just three to five hours of board service a month is dramatically higher than what can be accomplished with two or three hours of direct service because you're focusing on the big picture and making a lasting impact in the community. Requirements (flexible based on candidate): - Experience volunteering is preferred
- Time commitment of at least 3 hours per month
- Annual giving levels of $500 or more
- Be an ambassador for the RTNJ mission in your daily life

RTNJ Offices located in the rear of Ponds Reformed Church - 341 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ. Current Openings Include Fund Development Chair - Drive the development of a strategic plan that identifies budget requirements, and then determine appropriate fundraising goals
- Develop fundraising priorities, policies and approaches
- Target, rate and approach potential donors
- Contribute an amount of personal significance (and ensure achievement of 100% board give)
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising campaigns
Secretary - Approve the Institution's philosophy in meeting its mission and review management's performance in achieving it
- Annually assess the homeowner's environment and approve the Institution's strategy in relation to services it provides
- Annually review and approve the Institution's plan for funding its strategy
- Review and approve the Institution's long term financial goals
- Annually review and approve the Institution's budget
- Approve major policies and new programs and services
- Identify new potential Board Members, volunteers, outlets for services and Sponsors
