Who We Are
Mission: To provide enhanced opportunities for all citizens of Bergen and Passaic Counties with intellectual and other disabilities and their families through advocacy, community education, direct services, and customized supports and to help these individuals attain and maintain fulfilled and independent status within their own communities and to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of disability whenever possible.
The Arc of Bergen and Passaic is a private not-for profit organization of families, self advocates, professionals and community members dedicated to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc is a membership organization affiliated with The Arc of New Jersey and The Arc of the United States.
