West Bergen was founded in 1963 as a Child Guidance Clinic. As the needs of the community grew, so did West Bergen. To better serve the residents of the surrounding area, West Bergen expanded into a full-range community mental health center serving over 6,000 individuals and families each year.

We offer a wide variety of quality programs and services tailored to the special needs of children, families, adults and seniors.

West Bergen is committed to meeting the psychological needs of our clients with sensitivity and responsive, innovative services at the highest possible standard. We strive to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve…one life at a time.

We have over a dozen specialty services including Depression, Anxiety, Family and Individual Therapy, Anger Management, Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorders (Formerly Asperger’s Syndrome), ADHD, Divorce, Psychiatric Services and Substance Abuse.
